Raúl González Domínguez
Raul has a degree in chemistry from the University of Huelva (2010), and has a Masters in Chemical Technology and Science (2011) from the same university. In 2015 he received the degree of Doctor in Chemistry with International Mention with the thesis entitled "Development of metabolomic and metalómicos for the study of Alzheimer's disease analytical methods. Design of new chemical biomarkers for diagnosis ". During this predoctoral period, he enjoyed a FPU grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport for carrying out the PhD, and conducted various research stays at the University Institute of Pesticides and Waters (Jaume I University, 2011), Metabolomics and Bioanalysis Centre (Universidad San Pablo CEU, 2013) and Bioscope Group (Universidade Nova de Lisboa, 2014). His main research focuses on the development of complementary metabolomic techniques based on mass spectrometry for the study of Alzheimer's disease. Also, also has experience in the use of other omics methodologies, including vitro metallomics and proteomics, and its application in different lines of research in the field of biomedicine, environmental control and food analysis.
